Winter walking routes
12 - Oberlehen: Loipenhaus circular route
The car park by the Bernau cross-country centre is the starting point. This easy circular route leads you through open countryside with an amazing view of the 8km long Bernau mountain valley to the summit of the 1415m high Herzogenhorn.

13 - Oberlehen: Loipenhaus > Innerlehen

Various views, medium difficulty circular route. From the cross-country ski centre this route leads us across the meadows, through Stöckerwald to Innerlehen.

14 - Innerlehen: Sitzenberg circular route
Various views, medium difficulty circular route. From the “Kurhaus” car park across meadows and through forests around the Spitzenberg and back to the car park.

15 - Weierle: Albweg > Hof
15 - Hof: Albweg > Weierle
The Albweg (Alp route) is one of the most beautiful walking routes in the valley and leads you from Weierle along the “Bernau Alb” to Hof. This route can also be walked in sections, and can be reached from every Bernau town.
Distance: 6km, easy

16 - Kaiserhaus: Panorama route > Hof
16 - Hof: Panorama route > Kaiserhaus
The Bernau Panorama route is one of the most beautiful walking routes in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. From this Bernau walking route with many viewpoints, you can enjoy the view across the whole Bernau Highlands. The view stretches across the forest-covered heights of the Southern Black Forest and in good weather to the Swiss Alps. Starting point is the hiking car park in Hof, or above the chapel in Kaiserhaus.

17 - Dorf: Dorf > Krunkelbachhütte
From Dorf along the Krunkelbackweg across mainly open land with views of the Bernau Highlands and to the 1,309m high Blößling. The destination is the well-known Krunkelbach Hütte (cabin). Return along the same route.

18 - Hof: Hof > Krunkelbachhütte
From Hof across varying open and forest land with recurring fantastic views across the area and to the open Bernau Highlands to the south, to the Krunkelbach Hütte and return along the same route. Be aware: The walking route is also used as toboggan run!

19 - Oberlehen: Loipenhaus > Rot-Kreuz-Hütte
The car park by the Bernau cross-country ski centre is the starting point. This medium difficulty route leads us through open countryside and through the Stöckerwald to the “Rot-Kreuz-Hütte” on the Bernau-Todtmoos pass (1100m).

Various views, easy circular route. From the Kurhaus car park across open land with views of the Bernau Highlands.

Snowshoe tours
Tour A, Hof – Krunkelbachhütte - Dorf
Circular route from Hof through the varying open and forest countryside with various pretty views across the area and the open Bernau Highlands to the south. The destination is the highest-located mountain cabin in the Black Forest, the Krunkelbach Hütte.
Return via Dorf – Goldbach to Hof.
